The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has cleared the proposed transaction of a retail fuel service station and associated convenience store on Sallins Road, Naas, Co. Kildare. The service station is currently trading as ‘Spar Sallins Road’ and is owned by M.K.M.H. Limited. Applegreen, through its subsidiary Petrogas Group Limited, is now cleared to acquire the station.
The Commission determined that the proposed sale would not substantially lessen competition in any market for goods or services in the State. It will publish the reasons for determination on its website no later than 60 working days after the date of the determination.
M.K.M.H Limited is an Irish registered property holding company that acts as a landlord holding the freehold interest in the Topaz branded forecourt and Spar branded convenience store on Sallins Road.
