Checkout is delighted to announce economist Jim Power as the latest addition to the 2016 Checkout Conference lineup.
Jim Power is owner manager of Jim Power Economics Limited, an economic and financial consultancy. In 2013, he co-founded CJP Consultants with Economist Chris Johns.
He is also economic advisor to the Friends First Group and was previously Treasury Economist at AIB (1987-1991) and Chief Economist at Bank of Ireland Group Treasury (1991-2000). He writes a weekly column in The Irish Examiner and is a frequent contributor to media. He lectures on the MSc Management course at Smurfit School of Business, UCD.
With the 2016 General Election looming, his presentation will examine the impact that the current administration has had on Irish business, and what Government should do to foster future growth.
