Heinz is celebrating 50 years of its iconic advertising slogan ‘Beanz Meanz Heinz’ with pop up cafes in both Dublin and Cork.
According to Emily O’Kane, Marketing Manager Kraft Heinz Ireland, "We take huge pride in this much-loved household staple, from the laser technology that scrutinises every single bean to the top secret spice recipe we use for the sauce."
The tagline 'Beanz Meanz Heinz’ was penned in 1967 by Maurice Drake, head of copy at ad agency Young & Rubicam and seemingly. 99% of us can complete the slogan without being prompted.
"Maurice Drake’s slogan summed it up perfectly and the popularity of the numerous adverts that followed is testament to that. It’s an incredible achievement to have a tagline that continues to strike a chord 50 years after it was first penned and we hope its legacy will continue for many years to come.” O'Kane added.
The Beanz Meanz Heinz pop up café, Dublin will launched yesterday on Monday 24 April and will run until Sunday 30 April. It will serve free food to customers for the duration of the promotion.
Beanz Meanz Heinz pop up café, Cork will launch on Tuesday 2 May until Sunday 7 May.
