The Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund has released details about its annual Midsummer Ball, which this year features the theme 'Ireland's Call'.
The event takes place at The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin, on Friday 5 June.
Ireland rugby coach Joe Schmidt will be the guest of honour, and deliver the keynote speech of the evening. Marty Whelan will compere the event.
The Midsummer Ball – Ireland’s Call is limited to a maximum of 260 persons and the event is aimed at only the most senior people in the grocery trade.
Tickets are priced at €500 per person and all ticket income will go directly to the IGBF.
The Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund (IGBF) is a national registered charity assisting people in the retail, wholesale and supplier trade sectors. For over 30 years, the IGBF has provided assistance to relieve hardship amongst unemployed and retired members and their spouses, who have fallen on difficult times because of ill health or bereavement.
