The Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund has raised over €250,000 at its annual Dublin Christmas lunch, which was held at the DoubleTree Hotel last Friday, 4 December.
Some 1,202 attendees were present at the annual event, which was hosted by Síle Seoige and featured entertainment by Retrospect.
Attendees also had the opportunity to win a host of prizes, with the top prize on the day, a trip to Las Vegas, won by Kim McLoughlin of Ballymaguire Foods. Other prizes included a scooter and a VIP trip to Leinster v Toulon later this month.
Commenting at the event, Noel Keeley, the outgoing IGBF President of Appeals thanked attendees and sponsors for their generosity, and introduced the IGBF's new President of Appeals for 2016, Neil Finlayson, Sales Director with Mars Ireland.
