Joanne joined BWG Foods in July 2012, having spent the previous five years as Operations Manager in Allied Foods with responsibility for both Food Services and Logistics contracts.
Part of BWG Group, BWG Foods is a leading retail and wholesale business. From the company’s state-of-the-art 240,000 sq ft National Distribution Centre, the business supplies more than 1,000 independently owned stores nationwide across leading retail brands Spar, Eurospar, Londis, Mace and XL.
Prior to this, Joanne worked with Folens Publishers as Distribution & Customer Services Manager.
Joanne’s career in logistics began in Dublin Airport, establishing and managing the first non Aer Rianta Bonded Store for SAS Service Partner before moving to Exel Walsh Western to manage various hi tech accounts such as 3Comm, Lucent, Motorola and Celestica.
Joanne was appointed Logistics Director for BWG Foods in 2016.
