Did you know...? After New York, Moscow, Seoul, São Paulo, and, of course, its native Italy, the popular food emporium Eataly is set to open its first UK store in London in the coming years. The new store will be opened in 2020 and will be located at Broadgate's 135 Bishopgate, near Spitalfields and Shoreditch, with 42,000 square feet of selling space on the ground and first floors of the building.

Beam Suntory, whose brands include Jim Beam bourbon and Laphroaig Scotch whisky, reckons drinkers in Europe are ready for a new tipple: Japanese premium gin ‘Roku’ made with cherry blossom and other exotic ingredients. The en vogue spirit has entered the British market at £30 a bottle available at the upmarket retailer Waitrose.
Did you know...? The UK has seen a strong growth in popularity of Welsh lamb, according to the Co-op. The retailer announced that sales increased by nearly 20%, following its commitment last May to become the first retailer to sell 100% British meat. Not baaa-d.
Did you know...? The increasingly popular aperitif Aperol has boosted its manufacturer Campari Group’s sales last year. The group’s largest brand continued to outperform with overall sales up by 19.5% and as much as +40% in Spain and +50% in the US.
