Did You Know ... Northern Ireland’s original craft brewery Hilden Brewing Company is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year? The brewery was established by husband and wife team Seamus and Ann Scullion in 1981 and will mark the anniversary with a series of special events, among them its longstanding Hilden Beer Festival.

Did You Know ... The Advertising Standards Authority of Ireland (ASAI) has said it does not have the power to ban misleading Eircode ads. The ASAI investigated Government-produced ads that suggested those in need of emergency assistance needed to know their postcode and judged them in violation of its codes. However the broadcasts could be classified as "public notices" and therefore fall outside its remit.
Did You Know ... A supermarket in Switzerland is to start selling insect-based foods in 2017? Coop Switzerland has announced that it will work with start-up Essento to produce insect-based products such as burgers or meatballs, following a decision from the national food safety body to allow certain insects as comestibles.
