Nolans Supermarkets Limited, the company that operates Nolan’s in Clontarf, has posted profits for the year to end 30 June of €1.48 million.
This is an increase on the €1.29 million posted by the company the previous year.
Net cash inflow from operating activities stood at €1.4 million, up from €1.2 million the previous year. The business employed a total of 130 people during the period.
In their report, directors of the company said that the company has “maintained excellent profitability levels in a challenging sector”.
They noted the fact that the business is “competing against large multinational organisations, so there is constant downward pressure on profit margins.”
The directors paid a dividend amounting to €67.8k.
