Tesco Mobile Ireland Grows Customer Base By 13.2%

Tesco Mobile Ireland Limited grew its customer base by 13.2% in 2015, while growing revenue with the help of "successful promotions and on-net activity".

According to reports recently filed with the Companies Registration Office, it ended 2015 with net cash generated by its operating activities of just over €6.4 million.

The telecommunications arm of Tesco didn’t include its pretax profits in the report, but did note a net increase of cash and cash equivalents of over €4.2 million for the year ending December 2015.

Meanwhile, the company saw losses of €153,000 for the year (versus a loss of €112,000 is 2014).However, this was in line with expectatoions, and as the directors haven’t proposed any dividends, this amount has been deducted from the company’s reserves.
