Ferrero’s Irish arm saw pretax profits jump by 34% last year, according to IrishTimes.com. The company recorded a profit of €2.76 million for the year ending on 3 August, 2015, versus the €2.05 million profit from the previous year.

Roughly half of the State's €10 billon food and drink exports went to the UK last year according to an estimate made by the Department of Agriculture. Nohoval Drink company has signed a five- year contract for the supply of Finnbarra Irish Craft Cider to Carlsberg subsidiary, House of Beer, in France, according DrinksIndustryIreland.ie. The Cork-base company’s Finnbarra Irish Craft Cider will now be sold and distributed throughout France.
