Aldi Announces 10% Bonus For Staff On Hours Worked During Virus Crisis

Aldi has announced enhanced pay for its store and distribution colleagues, who will each receive a 10% bonus on hours worked, effective from 9 March 2020 until the end of April.  

Over 3,800 Aldi staff members will benefit from the measure.

Earlier this week the discount retailer launched a recruitment drive nationwide to supplement its workforce.

In light of the coronavirus pandemic Aldi introduced a number of measures recently, which includes the introduction of priority hours for the elderly and the vulnerable from 11am to 1pm daily.
