Aldi Announces Extended Opening Hours For Christmas Week

Aldi Ireland has announced that it is extending the opening hours of its 145 Irish stores in the run-up to Christmas. 

“The vast majority of our stores will be open from 8am to 11pm during Christmas week to spread the demand and allow customers to shop when suits them best," said Niall O’Connor, Aldi group managing director.

"Our stores will be fully stocked with daily deliveries, often multiple times a day," he added. 

Aldi's Extended Christmas Opening Hours:

Friday 18^th:                                          9am to 10pm

Saturday 19^th:                                     9am to 10pm

Sunday 20^th:                                       8am to 10pm

Monday 21^st:                                       8am to 11pm

Tuesday 22^nd:                                     8am to 11pm

Wednesday 23^rd:                                8am to 11pm

Thursday 24^th:                                    8am to 7pm

Opening hours will vary for a small number of stores, the discounter said. 

Yesterday, Aldi announced that it is rolling out new canopies across 21 of its stores around Ireland.
