Aldi has announced that it will create 450 new jobs this year. The retailer today announced a recruitment drive, seeking area managers, store managers, assistant store managers and store assistants, as it continues to grow its portfolio of stores.
Commenting on the new roles, Niall O’Connor, Managing Director of Aldi, Mitchelstown Region said, “We expect to build further on the sustained growth we have achieved in the last few years, opening a further seven stores and hiring an additional 450 employees in 2014.
"We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join the Aldi team and contribute to our continued success. We need great people to join our business and help us to continue to offer our product at the quality and value our customers have come to expect.”
Over 2,400 people are currently employed in Aldi stores across the country.
“We are looking for outstanding candidates, born leaders possessing the drive and ambition to succeed in the demanding and fast-paced grocery retail environment," said O'Connor. "At Aldi only the best will do."
