Aldi has announced that work has commenced on the construction of its new €4.5 million Project Fresh Kinnegad store, located on the Dublin Road.
The new store will take approximately six months to build with an estimated 15 new jobs to be created when the store opens.
Once completed, the store, which will be powered by 100% green electricity, will take up 1,254 square metres of floor space.
There will also be 90 free car parking spaces available for customers.
Choice, Quality & Value
“We are really excited to turn the sod on the construction of our new Kinnegad store. Every new Aldi store that opens brings greater choice, quality and value to shoppers,” Donald Mackay, Managing Director Aldi Naas Region.
“Our commitment to our customers is we will never be beaten on price and will always provide the best value. Our Swap and Save campaign continues into 2019 and the goal of this campaign is to remind shoppers about the saving that can be generated by swapping their weekly shop to Aldi.”
The new store will feature Aldi’s award-winning Project Fresh design. It is also apart of the discounter’s €160 million Irish store network investment programme.
Aldi currently operates a network of 137 stores in Ireland, employing almost 3,500 people.
