Aldi Ireland And Dawn Meats Enter €125m Contract

Aldi Ireland has today announced a new €125 million contract with supplier Dawn Meats, worth €25 million annually over the next five years.

As a result of this contract, Dawn Meats will recruit 15 new staff members and add six new lines to the Aldi range.

Under the terms of the contract, Dawn Meats will increase its supply to the retailer by 35%.

As one of Aldi Ireland’s longest-standing suppliers, Dawn Meats has seen incremental growth every year since it first entered a deal with Aldi, in 2010.

The increased investment and new contract have provided the supplier with the confidence to accelerate a €5 million expansion plan for its facility in Waterford.
