Aldi Ireland has highlighted deals on its 100% Irish Bord Bia Quality Approved lamb, fish, beers, spirits and soft drinks ahead of Easter next week.
Aside from chocolate, there are plenty of Easter food traditions to enjoy.
Food
From 25 March, Aldi will have deals on its quality assured lamb. The Butchers Selection Irish Whole Lamb Leg will be available for €6.35/kg, down from €9.49/kg.
The Butchers Selection Irish Half Lamb Leg is also available at a reduced price, at €7.99/kg down from €10.99/kg.
For the traditional Good Friday fish supper, there are an array of options for whatever you are in the mood for.
The Specially Selected King Prawn Cocktail(€2.29, down from €3.49) and Skellig Bay Smoked Salmon (€4.99, down from €7.99) are perfect for a starter.
If you prefer a fish-and-chip-style meal, the Cod Fillet Family Pack is available for €5.99, down from €6.99.
Would it be Easter without hot cross buns? Just heat Grainne’s Hot Cross Buns (€0.99) or Specially Selected Luxurious Hot Cross Buns (€1.49) in the oven for a nostalgic treat.
Drinks
There are plenty of soft drinks available to be enjoyed over the long weekend.
Vive Lemon and Lime (2L €0.53, down from €0.75) and Viva Cola Regular or Diet (2L €0.55, down from €0.79) offer a refreshing twist as the days get sunnier.
For a cocktail or mocktail, the Ridge Valley Premium Indian Tonic Water (8x150ml €1.93, down from €2.75) is the perfect mixer.
And for anyone entertaining, Aldi’s multipack cans are available for €1.95 per pack, down from €2.79, until 1 April.
With flavours such as lemon and lime, orange zero, and tropical blast, there is something for everyone.
There are savings on beers, with a Heineken 10-pack available for €16.96 down from €20.00, or a Guinness 12-pack for €19.88 down from €22.00 it is easy to stock up.
For something stronger, Gordon’s Gin has been reduced from €23.00 to €20.71 and Jameson from €31.00 to €22.09.
