Aldi Ireland has revealed its Specially Selected festive food range, ahead of its arrival in stores nationwide on 24 November.
Available throughout Christmas, the range includes a selection of starters and mains, as well as desserts from the award-winning range.
To Start
For a traditional Irish starter, Aldi’s Specially Selected Smoked Salmon (€3.99) with brown bread and a squeeze of lemon is the perfect amuse-bouche.
If salmon’s not on the menu, try the Specially Selected Irish Crab Claws (€5.99) or the already prepared Specially Selected Seafood Ramekins (€5.99), available in scallop and king prawn Thermidor, prosecco, or lobster mac & cheese.
For something extra special, both the Specially Selected Lobster Tails (€16.99) and a glass of Specially Selected Mâcon-Villages (€12.99) make a luxury appetiser.
For Mains
With a selection of 100% Irish Bord Bia quality-assured meats, including festive favourites such as turkey and ham, Aldi has everything for a Christmas dinner centrepiece.
From 20 December, customers can pick up a fresh Irish turkey to feed the whole family this Christmas.
Standout options include the Specially Selected Range of Premium Irish Free-Range Bronze Whole Turkeys (€37.99), the Specially Selected Ultimate Outdoor-Reared Bronze Butter-Based Succulent Turkey Breast Parcel (€39.99), and the Specially Selected Irish Outdoor-Reared Bronze Whole Turkey (€49.99).
Aldi also has a range of delicious hams, such as the Specially Selected Farm-to-Fork Boned & Rolled Ham (€16.99), the Specially Selected Irish Silverside Ham (€14.99) and the Specially Selected Horseshoe Ham (€26.99).
For those who feel like breaking away from tradition, the Specially Selected Multi-Award-Winning Silver Hill Whole Irish Duck (€8.99) is a tasty choice.
For roast-dinner fans, Aldi has a Specially Selected West of Ireland Premium Lamb Guard of Honour (€23.99) and the Specially Selected Ultimate Irish Wagyu Beef Joint (€39.99), the latter of which took home gold at the 2024 Blas na hÉireann awards.
Vegetarians need not despair! With products such as the Specially Selected Brie & Butternut/No-Beef Wellingtons (€5.99) and the No-Turkey Stuffed Crown (€6.99), a tasty meal is guaranteed.
