Aldi Ireland has highlighted its extensive selection of sparkling wine, champagne, prosecco, cava and more, ahead of New Year’s celebrations.
Kick off festivities by popping open a bottle of Costellore Prosecco Frizzante Doc (€7.99) or enjoy a festive indulgence with Costellore Prosecco Doc Extra Dry (€14.99).
Hailing from the Veneto region in Northern Italy, Costellore is renowned for its bubbly and delicate notes – perfect for celebrating all holiday season.
Ring in 2025 with a glass of champagne, like the Veuve Monsigny Champagne Brut (€22.99).
The champagne took gold at the 2024 Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards and silver at the 2024 Champagne Masters competition, so it is premium champagne without the price tag.
Opt for the elegant, easy-drinking Nicolas de Montbart Champagne Brut (€24.99), which will go down a treat with guests.
‘Fizz’ The Season
Savour sensational sparklers from Aldi’s Specially Selected Range, like the Specially Selected Sparkling Shiraz (€9.99) and festive favourite Specially Selected Crémant du Jura (€12.99), which won gold at The Drinks Business’s Sparkling Masters in 2024.
For non-drinkers, Aldi has plenty of non-alcoholic alternatives.
Enjoy the Castellore Zerozecco Sparkling Rosé (€3.49) or the Castellore Zerozecco Sparkling White (€3.49).
Zerozecco was awarded silver at the 2024 International Wine and Spirit Competition, recognised for its refreshing taste of prosecco without the alcohol.
Aldi also has a selection of gins, to kick off the festive spirit, such as Boyle’s Forest Gin (€19.99) and the award-winning Boyle’s Gin (€24.99).
Made by Blackwater Distillery exclusively for Aldi, this gin is made with locally sourced botanicals, like blackcurrants, apples and elderflower.
A firm favourite among shoppers, the Boyle’s Gin range has racked up awards since first launching in Aldi over seven years ago, recently earing a one-star accolade at the 2024 Great Taste Awards.
The gin, along with a range of other products, is now available at Aldi stores nationwide.
