Aldi Ireland has announced its 100% Irish Bord Bia Quality Assured steak range, produced by ABP Cahir, won 12 awards at the International Taste Institute Awards.

Aldi’s Specially Selected 32 Day Matured Irish Blank Angus Ribeye Steak (€11.29) won the prestigious Diamond Taste Award.

This top honour is given to products that have been awarded a 3-Star Superior Taste Award in seven out of the past ten years.

It is regarded a mark of distinction for foods that are exceptional in quality, consistency and taste.

This is the second Diamond Taste Award win for Aldi, after its Specially Selected 36 Day Matured Tipperary Dry Aged Irish Blank Angus Ribeye Steak (€13.99) made history as the first Irish product to claim the award.
