‘Aldi Has You Covered’
Speaking about the drink selections, Aldi’s wine ambassador, wine expert Tom Doorley, said, “There’s no better time than Valentine’s Day to celebrate romance with the sensual pleasure of great wines.
“Aldi’s Costellore Prosecco Frizzante, from a family-owned single estate in the Veneto region of northern Italy, is a seriously fun fizz – perfect as an aperitif or right through a meal for two – not to mention its gold award at the Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards 2024.
“For couples looking for something bolder and meatier, the Specially Selected Bin 20 Australian Shiraz is jam-packed with fruit and has the power to make it the ideal partner for Aldi’s superlative award-winning steaks.
“If we’re looking at seafood, chicken risotto or creamy pasta, the supremely versatile The Reprobates Chardonnay – again, from Down Under – will hit the spot.
“Whatever you choose to eat on this special day, Aldi has you covered for brilliantly selected wines, all of which taste much dearer than they actually cost!”
