Aramark Grows Irish Business, Creates 17 New Jobs

Provider of facilities management, food and property, Aramark has announced it is growing its Irish facility services business leading to 17 new positions in the process.

The news comes after the integration of Lotus Facilities Management in Sligo, which was acquired by Aramark in February 2014. The company's work force has since doubled from 17 to 34.

Aramark has won contracts with Tesco Ireland to provide mechanical, electrical and building fabric maintenance to 26 store locations across the West of Ireland.

It has also landed the contract to provide facilities management services to AIB's Head Office estate in Ballsbridge, along with the Nationwide Branch Network for Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance.

The company has also extended its work with the Irish Aviation Authority to include The Irish Times Building in Dublin City Centre. Contracts with Trinity Biotech and Gilead Sciences have also been recently announced.

Aidan Bell, Aramark Managing Director, expressed excitement about the new opportunities, "We are seeing increased demand for outsourced facilities management services as businesses and public sector organisations realise the improved effectiveness and value they can realise by having an integrated service platform in place."
