Artisan baking mix company, Boutique Bake has secured a contract with Tesco Ireland to stock 11 Tesco stores in Dublin and Wicklow through the Tesco Bord Bia Supplier Development Programme.
The brand, founded by friends Catherine Buggy and Suzanne Lynch, took part in the Tesco Bord Bia programme for 2014, which incorporates local, national and export levels to support companies at varying stages of their development. The company was set up to fill a gap in the market for baking mixes without artificial flavours, additives or preservatives.
Buggy praised the support provided by the programme and commented, "We're hoping to build on our relationship with Tesco and hopefully work with the team to bring our range of bread and cake mixes to more stores throughout Ireland."
Boutique Bake produces a range of baking mixes including, lemon drizzle cake mix, seeded brown bread mix and Belgian chocolate brownie mix. They are now available in 11 Tesco stores in Dublin and Wicklow priced between €2.99 and €3.99.
