Casey’s Londis Group has been announced as one of the title sponsors of the Mayo Stages Rally 2024.
The group, which has stores in Ballina, Balla and Castlebar, will be sponsoring alongside the Great National Hotel and Connacht Print and Signs.
The rally will take place on Sunday 3 March in Ballina. The Mayo Motorsport Club will host the event.
The opening stage of the Motorsport Ireland Championship season is expected to attract a star-studded field.
After an exciting day of racing in Ballina, a winner will be announced. The prize-giving will take place at rally headquarters in the Great National Hotel on Sunday evening.
Gerry Casey, of Casey’s Londis Group, said that the business was proud to sponsor the important local event.
“Casey’s Londis has had a presence in Mayo going back many years, and we are always keen to show our support of local events and local activities,” Casey said.
Casey’s Londis has long supported local communities across Mayo by providing local employment.
It also supports national and local causes and serves a vital role in the infrastructure of local communities.
The Mayo Stages Rally is the first round of the Triton Showers National Rally Championship. It will be the first part of Motorsport Ireland’s four major championship series of rallying.
The national series also includes the Sligo Pallets Border Rally Championship, the Top Part West Coast Championship, and the Motorsport Ireland Junior Rally series.
