Centra has become the first retail chain in Ireland to stock the viral ‘crookie’ – a combination of a cookie and a croissant – in its stores.
The viral pastry, which has amassed over 100 million views on TikTok, is available from the retailer for €2.50.
Since taking the Internet by storm, the crookie is an essential purchase for any pastry lover, and Centra has made that process easier than ever.
The treat combines the flaky pastry of a croissant with the chewy, chocolatey goodness of a cookie.
Influencers and foodies alike are raving about crookies, and they are now available in selected Centra stores around Ireland.
Made with all-butter croissant pastry and rich Belgian chocolate, the crookie is an absolute must-have to accompany a coffee.
It joins a host of new treats available from the retailer, including the pistachio croissant and the ‘brookie’ – a combination of a cookie and a brownie.
Crookies are €2.50 each, with pistachio croissants priced at €1.25 each, or four for €4, and brookies at €1.85 each.
