Circle K Ireland Announces ‘Kits For Clubs’ Campaign

Circle K Ireland has today launched ‘Kits for Clubs’, a competition for football clubs across the country to win new kits for their teams.

Circle K is one of Ireland’s leading forecourt retailers and the title sponsor of the FAI Club Mark programme.

Between now and May 2025, Circle K ‘Kits for Clubs’ will see 18 lucky clubs each win four brand-new sets of Circle K-branded kit in their club colours, worth €30,000.

At the end of the competition, one lucky club will win a meet-and-greet with the players at a men’s national team training session.

Last year, the forecourt retailer gave €100,000 to clubs across the country as part of its Circle K Grassroots Giveaway.

Circle K ‘Kits for Clubs’ is open to all clubs that are Circle K FAI Club Mark accredited.

The Circle K FAI Club Mark programme aims to provide clubs with a road map to good governance, reward clubs for achieving and maintaining high standards, recognise clubs for their commitment and achievements, and help grow football in communities across the country.

Regions

‘Kits for Clubs’ will run in three-week cycles on six regional radio stations around the country between now and May 2025.

Further promotion of the competition will take place at Circle K sites and via social media in each region. This will give clubs in all 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland the opportunity to enter and win.

On Week One of each regional competition, clubs enter by completing a form on the participating station’s website.

A random draw will shortlist ten clubs in Week Two.

Then, in Week Three, listeners and Circle K store visitors will vote for their shortlisted club.

The top three in each region will win four sets of kit for their teams in their club colours.

In May, one club from all of those that enter will be selected for the grand prize of a VIP training session and meet-and-greet with the Irish men’s national team.

The stations, participating counties and dates for the competition are as follows.

‘Pride And Enjoyment’

Speaking at the announcement, the managing director of Circle K Ireland, Ciara Foxton, said, “Circle K is very proud to play a role in supporting grassroots football through our partnership with the FAI.

“Following on from the huge success of our Grassroots Giveaway initiative last year, we’re very excited to announce Circle K ‘Kits for Clubs’.

“Not only will it offer clubs the chance to win fabulous new kits, but one lucky club will win the opportunity to watch a training session and meet with the Irish men’s national team.”

The FAI grassroots director, Ger McDermott, added, “The pride and enjoyment that pulling on your club jersey brings is the most important part of a player’s experience in our game.

“This great initiative from Circle K will help clubs to bring that to our game.
