Glanbia boss Siobhán Talbot (54) has been appointed as a non-executive director at CRH, the global building material group announced today.
Talbot will be appointed alongside Mary Rhinehart (60), who joins effective immediately, as she takes her seat on 1st December.

Talbot has led Glanbia since 2013, having been a member of its board since 2009. Before coming to Glanbia, Talbot worked with PwC in Dublin and Sydney.
She also acts as a director for the Irish Business Employers Confederation (IBEC).
Rhinehart is the chairman, CEO, and president of Johns Manville Corporation, a global manufacturer of premium-quality building products and engineered speciality materials.
Over nearly 40 years with Johns Manville she has held a wide range of global leadership roles, encompassing responsibility for business management and strategic business development. Prior to being appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2012, she held the role of Chief Financial Officer.
