Did you know ...? The first 15 restaurants of former McDonald's Corp reopened in Moscow on Sunday 12 June under new ownership and a new name, 'Vkusno & tochka', which means 'Tasty & that's it'. Another 50 restaurants will be opened on Monday 13 June, reports Reuters. 'Vkusno & tochka' noted that Sunday marked a new dawn for Russia's fast-food lovers as restaurants formerly run by the hugely popular western fast-food chain reopen under new branding and with renamed burgers, more than three decades after McDonald's first opened in Moscow.
Did you know ...? Tesco Mobile, Ireland’s largest virtual network operator, is expanding in response to customer demand with the latest of its new Tesco Mobile areas now open in Tesco Artane Castle. This new Tesco Mobile fixture in Artane will increase the total number of Tesco Mobile concessions in Ireland to 41, with this latest announcement following the opening of new Mobile areas in Killarney Park, Oranmore, Longford and Cabra Tesco stores. The retailer plans to introduce a dedicated Tesco Mobile phone shop in more Tesco stores over the coming weeks.
Did you know ...? Carrefour Polska has announced that it has collaborated with Nescafé Dolce Gusto to facilitate the recycling of used coffee capsules in select stores. The collaboration aims to ensure that coffee capsules do not end up in landfills and encourage more consumers to join the campaign, reports ESMmagazine.com. As part of the #RecyklingDolceGusto programme, used coffee capsules are sent directly to the plant, where coffee is separated from the material in an automatic process.
