Did you know ...? Aldi Ireland customers can now order this year’s Christmas groceries via its Click and Collect service. Christmas collection slots are now available to book via its Click and Collect site. The discounter noted that customers can order from a vast range of groceries online and select a one-hour collection window between the 20 and 23 of December. Twenty stores across Ireland offer Aldi’s Click & Collect service, where customers can have their shopping brought to their cars and loaded into their boots by its staff on arrival at dedicated Click and Collect points in the store car park.
Did you know ...? SPAR International has announced product expansions to two of its private-label ranges, 'SPAR Daily' and 'SPAR N°1 Value', reports ESMmagazine. A new addition to the SPAR Daily range is the SPAR Daily deodorant roll-on, available for both women and men, which offers 'long-lasting freshness through an anti-perspirant effect, all while maintaining a mild formula', according to the retailer. The packaging for the deodorant is made from 95% recycled plastic, the retailer noted. The SPAR N°1 Value range is now available in 15 countries worldwide, and includes more than 100 everyday essential items.

The pound recently weakened after data showed that British retail sales unexpectedly fell in October, as cash-strapped consumers stayed at home, stirring up investor concern about the resilience of household spending power, reports Reuters. Retail sales volumes dropped by 0.3% month-on-month, following a revised 1.1% decline in September that was worse than first estimated, the Office for National Statistics said. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast that sales volumes would rise by 0.3% in October.
