Did you know ...? Retailer Walmart has become the latest to build a presence in the metaverse, with the launch of two immersive experiences on the Roblox platform, reports ESMmagazine.com. The Arkansas-based retailer has launched Walmart Land and Walmart’s Universe of Play, which it describes as offering ‘unique interactive content and entertainment for customers’.
Did you know ...? Coffee giant JDE Peet’s has proposed the appointment of Patricia Capel as a non-executive member of its board of directors. The appointment is subject to approval at the 2023 annual general meeting of shareholders. Until then, Capel will temporarily fill the vacancy on the board as a stand-in non-executive member until the anticipated approval.
