According to the whiskey distributor in ireland, Barry & Fitzwilliam, designed to reflect Rod’s rock ‘n’ roll heritage with subtle nods to Americana, Wolfie’s was inspired by the legendary musician’s early hell raising days with Small Faces. “Wolfie’s is a rascal of a thing and with just a sip the whisky takes you back to the good old days. Fine-tuned and perfectly balanced, Wolfie’s is a delight both over ice and mixed into a favourite cocktail,” he said.
Did you know ...? Belgian retailer Colruyt Group has partnered with European Marketing Distribution (EMD), an international retail buying alliance, in a partnership exclusively focused on sourcing of private-label products, reports ESMmagazine.com. Colruyt, which generated turnover of more than €10 billion in its most recent financial year is a good fit with the Pfäffikon, Switzerland-based group, according to EMD managing director Philippe Gruyters, who described Colruyt as "one of the most customer-oriented and innovative retailers, with a strong private label offer.
Did you know ...? Shares in France's Casino plunged by as much as 20% to fresh record lows on Monday after the supermarket chain warned it was facing an increased default risk, reports Reuters. Casino needed to ask a court to grant it a grace period to protect the debt-laden retailer from potential default as it tries to reach a debt restructuring agreement with creditors. Casino and the holders of its €6.4 billion ($6.96 billion) of debt began talks in June as the group races to stay afloat by converting a large part of its debt into equity, as well as through divestments and an agreement to defer taxes and social charges with the government.
