Spar has announced a new range of exclusive delicious deli offerings from TV cook, Donal Skehan, now available in its nationwide network of stores.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary of working with Skehan, Spar has collaborated with the cook to create three signature deli menu items including a very special Donal’s Signature Sandwich, which consists of Ancient Grain Pavé loaf with Chicken Breast pieces, a Smoky Chipotle Coleslaw, crispy Streaky Bacon, and topped with fresh Rocket Leaves.
Skehan has also created a Mexican Gourmet Chicken fillet roll, which offers a choice of Southern Fried or Plain Chicken fillet with a fresh Mexican Salsa, topped with Grated Cheddar and Jalapeños.
The third item on Skehan's Deli offering is a Gourmet Sausage Roll with Black Pudding and Jalapeño relish, which consists of Irish Minced Pork and Black Pudding mix specially blended from FX Buckley Butchers, with award winning Folláin Jalapeño Pepper Relish, wrapped in Puff Pastry and topped with Mixed Herbs.
'Your Summer Starts at Spar'
Skehan's special deli creations are now available in participating Spar store nationwide and this exciting collaboration and is part of Spar’s ‘Your Summer Starts at SPAR’ campaign.
Commenting, Colin Donnelly, sales director, Spar said, “To have someone of Donal’s [Skehan] calibre partner with us in these new Spar Deli concepts is terrifically exciting. The food choices we make are more important now than ever, which is reflected in SPAR Deli’s mouth-watering menu.
