Folláin has announced a third year of its Christmas partnership with Simon Communities, bringing the total funds raised to date to €58,000.
The Cork-based preserve company will be donating €25,000 to the charity this year, thanks to support from its customers, exceeding previous years’ donations.
This year’s campaign marks the third consecutive year of Folláin’s support for the Simon Community, and the #GiftOfHome campaign – which saw 50% of all online sales donated to the Simon Community – showed the power of collective generosity.
Following the success of these Christmas campaigns, Folláin has extended its charitable efforts to year-round programmes.
Starting this year, a ‘Donate Now’ button on the website gives customers the opportunity to support the Simon Community year-round.
In addition to this, Folláin will match every euro donated by customers, doubling the impact of each contribution.
Funds raised will support the nearly 15,000 people currently experiencing homelessness in Ireland, according to official figures by Focus Ireland.
