Circle K, formerly known in Ireland as Topaz, has invested €3.7 million in a new site on the N7 at Kill north, according to the Irish Times.
It is reported that the Canadian-owned forecourt retailer is expecting the new site to open this week.
Investment Package
Circle K’s investment in the new site comes as part of a greater €35 million capital expenditure package that includes three new forecourt sites to open in Wexford, Kildare, and Westmeath next year.
The new N7 site will employ more than 20 people and feature retail brands such as pizza and deli counters, as well as its Cantina chain.
Circle K’s CEO, Niall Anderton, expects the site to be the busiest of its 420 sites in Ireland.
Anderton also revealed that the forecourt retailer was about 60% finished with the full rebranding of its network from Topaz, which it began earlier this year.
He said that the group has already observed that the rebranded stores, which were focused in cities and major urban sites initially, have seen higher sales.
