Forest Feast launched its presence on the Snapchat social media app at last weekend’s Tesco Northern Ireland Taste Festival, along with its new Crunchy Coated Peas range.
Crunchy Coated Peas are aimed at the youth audience. They were created in response to the growing consumer demand for vegetable based snacks and will be available in three flavours: Smokin’ Barbeque, Spicy Chilli Lime and Hot and Sour Sriracha.
As part of its adoption of Snapchat, Forest Feast developed three geofilters for the Tesco NI Taste Festival which allowed users to attach overlay images to their photographs when in the proximity of the Forest Feast stand.
Maeve Haughey, Digital Marketing Executive of Kestrel Foods Ltd, owners of the Forest Feast brand, said: "Forest Feast is a locally based company operating in 36 countries worldwide and Snapchat will allow our consumers to experience the brand activity up to the minute, wherever they are in the world."
