Frank and Honest has announced its mission to plant 3,000 native trees in Ireland by Christmas.
The gourmet coffee company has teamed up with hometree, to plant a selection of Alder, Rowan, Willow, Birch, Oak, and Scots Pine trees in Moy Hill Farm in Co. Clare.
Together with hometree which is a charity 'committed to planting trees' the group highlighted that the trees planted will not be cut down or sold for the duration of the tree’s lifetime.
Compostable Cups
This marks the next step in Frank and Honest’s sustainable journey, as it was the first national coffee brand to move to 100% compostable takeaway coffee cups in 2018.
In September SuperValu and Centra stores replaced all non-recyclable single-use Frank and Honest coffee brand cups with a new compostable cup and lid starting from September this year.
Aside from this, the coffee brand is currently offering customers get 20 cent off their coffee every time they bring their own cup.
