Irish retailer, Fresh The Good Food Market has been featured as Store of the Week by British retail publication, Retail Week.
Fresh was praised for offering as close as possible to what the magazine called "a New York deli experience", while its Smithfield branch in particular was complimented for its bold logo and double-height glass frontage.
Retail Week noted that while the traditional market-street location of the Smithfield store might be more reminiscent "of the efforts of a supermarket on this side of the water", the presentation in-store is still more likely to remind customers of a Big Apple deli.
It added that, "When coupled with the black-painted brick of the fresh food counter, this is the kind of back-to-the-street approach so many are currently trying to emulate."
