Tuesday, July 12, marked the 10 year anniversary of Gourmet Food Parlour's opening in Dún Laoghaire in 2006.
Founded by Lorraine Heskin and Lorraine Byrne continues to be a flourishing restaurant/ catering group and is celebrating its 10 year in business with a €500k redevelopment and expansion of its restaurant in Swords.
The newly extended outlet will create 15 jobs and is set to open in August.
Commenting on the investment, Lorraine Heskin, MD Gourmet Food Parlour, stated' "Moving next door into a new expanded space will see the premises completely overhauled with 40 additional seats, a larger kitchen space, a fully licensed bar space, new menu items and a private dining room.
"Due for completion in August, this expansion will boost not only our space capacity but also our offering to the Swords area. We will be welcoming 15 new staff to the Gourmet Food Parlour team to operate the new premises. After 10 years in business, we are so excited to share this news with our loyal customers who have supported us over the years," she continued.
On the outlook for the future, Heskin commented; "With a newly revamped premises on the horizon, a logo re-brand and a new website, we are alive and kicking more than ever this year. We hope to continue to grow and build on an exciting future for the Gourmet Food Parlour team into the next 10 years."
