The Happy Pear has confirmed that six of their vegan products will be distributed in Waitrose stores across the UK from 4 June.
The Happy Pear range of vegan products will help Waitrose 'ensure it’s well-placed to meet the increased UK customer demand for great-quality, meat-free meals, and options suitable for the whole family,' the wholefood and plant-based chefs said in a statement.
“We are chuffed to be entering the UK market with our products and really honoured to be working with Waitrose to expand its vegan range. Our great-tasting, vegan products are made from natural ingredients and are great for all lifestyles and those wanting to eat more veg,” said David and Stephen Flynn, The Happy Pear co-founders.
“We have been working with Waitrose since 2016, creating vegan recipe videos and on customer events, and this is a great, growing partnership, which supports our mission to help people live healthier and happier lives.”
Hat Trick
The Happy Pear’s expansion into the UK has been a key strategic goal for the business, which now employs around 170 people across its four locations including its flagship café in Greystones and multi-award-winning café at the Round Tower, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
Additionally, it is launching two new Granola products in Ireland on Wednesday and its latest cookbook, published on 3 June, has gone straight to a No. 1 Bestseller.
