Krispy Kreme will be dropping the price of its iconic original glazed doughnuts to 31c on Wednesday 31 January, to celebrate payday.
The promotion – called ‘PayYay’ – aims to kick the last of the winter blues, as customers celebrate their first pay cheque after the Christmas holidays.

Following the six-week survival period of ‘wallet wilderness’ since many people’s last payday, Krispy Kreme is looking to make January even sweeter.
On Wednesday 31 January only, the original glazed doughnut will be available for 31c on a first-come-first-served basis in Krispy Kreme shops across Ireland.
For anyone looking to share the love, a box of a dozen original glazed doughnuts will be almost 50%, off at just €10 per box.
‘Celebrate The Joy’
Speaking about the promotion, the chief customer officer at Krispy Kreme UK and Ireland, Emma Colquhoun, said, “Forget Blue Monday or January doom and gloom – we are all about helping the nation celebrate the joy of making it through January.
“We want to make this payday the happiest one yet, and we’re so pleased to be offering our iconic original glazed doughnuts for just 31c all day on 31 January.”
The promotion is open exclusively to Krispy Kreme Squid Loyalty members and in Krispy Kreme Ireland retail stores.
The promotion is not available from its retail partners, and it cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.
However, customers can avail of one 31c doughnut with a box of a dozen, to treat themselves to a baker’s dozen.
