Krispy Kreme has announced that it is set to open its Dublin city flagship store on 1 June at 7am.
Located in the city’s Central Plaza this is Krispy Kreme’s first store in the centre of the city, situated at the popular pedestrian walkway linking Dame Street to Temple Bar.
The Central Plaza opening brings the Krispy Kreme store count to four locations across Dublin including Blanchardstown, Swords and Dundrum.
“There was a huge reaction to our previous store openings in Blanchardstown and Swords Pavilions with people even queuing overnight to be the first through the doors," commented Declan Foley, country manager for Ireland, Krispy Kreme.
Hotlight Store
The doughnut-makers first stand-alone Hotlight store will allow customers to 'see, smell, and buy hot Original Glazed (OG), doughnuts, fresh off the line just moments after they have been made.'
The Hotlight features a light up sign in store, so when the light is on, customers have the chance purchase a warm OG doughnut straight from the production line.
According to Krispy Kreme, customers will also get to try the latest limited-edition ranges and brand favourites such as Chocolate Sprinkles, Lotus Biscoff, Chocolate Dreamcake, Glazed Raspberry and Nutty Chocolatta.
"This time around we are expecting an even bigger buzz as we open our first stand-alone hot light store in Dublin city centre," Foley added.
There will be lots of fun and surprises on opening day so get there early and join in the Krispy Kreme joy! The first 300 people will be in for a treat.”
