Lidl Ireland has announced that a planning application has been lodged for a new Lidl store in Moycullen, Co. Galway.
If approved, the new store will expand the retailer’s Co. Galway portfolio to nine stores, with their latest store in Wellpark, open since last month.
The new store will create 30 new local jobs with the retailer in Moycullen if it goes ahead, Lidl added.
Store Features
Lidl noted that it is working with architects and planners to create a design with bespoke finishes to ensure that the new store will suit the surroundings and contribute positively to the Moycullen area.
The planned store will incorporate a range of sustainability features including an ISO 50001 certified Energy Management System, electric vehicle charger spaces and a solar panel system, it said.
