Lidl Ireland has announced that it is adding some new vegan friendly products to its Cien everyday beauty range. From face masks to face scrubs, Lidl’s new products start at €0.99 and will be available from Thursday, 8 October in Lidl’s 163 stores across the country.
Lidl’s new vegan friendly Cien beauty products include Cien Skin Foodies Hand Cream (€1.99) for different skin types, such as dry or sensitive skin. These rejuvenating creams are made with ingredients derived from up to 95% natural sources and are available in three variants: papaya, green tea and wild rose.
Lidl will also add Cien Skin Foodies Micellar Face Wash (€2.99) with quince extract and Cien Skin Foodies Cleansing Face Scrub (€2.99) with coconut shell powder to the new collection. The face wash is formulated for dry and sensitive skin, designed to clear away impurities, congestion and pollution from the day and unveil refreshed, smooth and clean skin.
Lidl says that the face scrub is the ‘perfect exfoliating addition’ to those with normal to combination skin type’s cleansing routines, as it works hard to remove excess oil and dead skin cells.
Consumers can also purchase the retailer’s new Cien Skin Foodies Cleansing Face Mask (€0.99), which comes with a choice of white clay and rosemary extract or papaya extract.
The retailer’s vegan friendly products follow Lidl’s successful launch of their first own-brand self-tan, Marbella Glow. The Irish-made self-tan is vegan certified, cruelty free and is priced at €3.99. The vegan tan is infused with white truffle and champagne extracts, which are combined with Vitamin E to condition the skin with antioxidant properties.
