Londis Castlebridge this week unveiled a new look, following a transformation and refurbishment.
Located on the outskirts of Wexford Town, the thriving local store is managed and run by Deirdre Carty.
To celebrate the renewal, Londis Castlebridge hosted an official store opening on Friday 31 May.
The store has almost doubled in size – now boasting an impressive footprint of 8,761 square feet – and employs 34 people locally, both full and part time.
Londis Castlebridge has been furnished to the highest spec, with new sustainability measures.
These include the installation of solar panels on the roof, to generate energy and offset the store’s carbon footprint.
The upgraded store also boasts a selection of Irish products and has an extensive grocery offering, to meet shoppers’ needs.
It includes a full off-licence, Smooch ice cream, and delicious pizzas to go or cooked on site, as well as freshly baked breads and pastries.
Speaking about the refurbishment, Carty said, “We are delighted with the new look, feel and flow to Londis Castlebridge.
“We are very proud to be serving the needs of the local community, and the response to the new store has been overwhelmingly positive.”
