Londis has confirmed that it has secured the sponsorship of the RTE's programme Ireland’s Fittest Family.
Entering its seventh season, episode one is due to air on Sunday, October 27, 2019.
Brokered by Core Sponsorship and Zenith Ireland, the sponsorship agreement which is worth €500,000, includes exclusive Londis TV and online stings throughout the series on RTE, RTE +1 and RTE player.
'Extreme Fitness'
The RTE TV show features presenter Mairead Ronan and fitness coaches, Derval O’Rourke, Davy Fitzgerald, Anna Geary and Donncha O’Callaghan, will once again be putting Ireland’s fittest, fastest and strongest families to the test in what is Ireland’s most extreme fitness programme.
“This is a family focussed show and Londis is a family centric retail brand that operates at the heart of the community," explained Suzanne Weldon, Marketing and Communications Director, BWG Foods (owners and operators of the Londis brand in Ireland).
"We're also hugely passionate about supporting healthier diets in our communities and are excited about using this sponsorship to promote and encourage healthy eating options with our customers across the country.”
The new campaign will also be supported by a strong digital media campaign, in-store posters and POS material, all aimed at building awareness of the sponsorship and Londis’ own ‘Local Like You’ campaign which aims to support local communities across the country with various health and well-being initiatives.
The series has been created and produced by Animo TV and Kite Productions.
