Londis has won the Best TV Broadcast Sponsorship Award for Ireland’s Fittest Family at the prestigious Irish Sponsorship Awards 2024.
Launched in 2012, the Irish Sponsorship Awards recognise and reward the brands, rightsholders, agencies and media owners who play a critical role in the delivery of world-class sponsorship programmes executed across Ireland.
The retailer was one of a number of BWG Foods’ names to be nominated for the awards in July.
Speaking last October about how the retailer would sponsor Ireland’s Fittest Family for its 11th season, the sales director at Londis, Conor Hayes, welcomed the news.
Hayes said, “The show is a great fit for our values at Londis, with its focus on family and communities nationwide, as well as the platform it provides us to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.”
Londis recently announced that it will sponsor Ireland’s Fittest Family for its 12th season.
