Mace has announced that Johnny Sexton will be returning for Series Two of the award-winning Mace ‘Right Options’ campaign.
This time, Mace ‘Right Options’ will see the former Ireland rugby captain assist students with healthy-eating tips as the college year kicks off.
College time can be great, but it can also be overwhelming at times.
Students face many pressures, such as finding accommodation, managing a budget, eating well, studying, and taking exercise, to name a few.
To help ease some of this burden, Coach Johnny will be sharing tips on a range of relevant topics over the coming weeks.
Health-and-performance nutritionist Laura Kealy will also be assisting Coach Johnny throughout the series.
‘Here To Help’
The launch video, which is available to watch now, shows a college-age girl scrolling aimlessly through social-media videos when she comes across Sexton and Kealy talking about ‘Right Options’.
The young woman comments on the video, asking for tips, and the pair leave the video to arrive at her front door, telling her, “We’re here to help.”
Over the coming weeks, Mace will release five short videos as a follow-up, covering these topics:
- Meal prep on a budget
- Nutrition for study
- Nutrition for sport
- Tips for a healthy mind
- Coach Johnny faces a cooking challenge
As well as Mace’s own social channels, the videos will be promoted on TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube.
New videos will be released up until the middle of October, at which point colleges will be back in the full swing of things.
The return of the series coincides with the news that Mace won bronze in the ‘Best in Retail’ category at the Digital Media Awards 2024, for its original Mace ‘Right Options’ campaign.
The first series of the campaign ran in the first quarter of the year.
