Marks & Spencer on Dublin's Grafton Street now has a sushi bar, run by Bento: Sushi and Pan-Asian Kitchen, following the success of kiosks in a number of Dublin stores.
Bento will serve M&S customers with the affordable, quality and fresh Japanese cuisine that the brand has become famous for.
This includes hand-rolled sushi, street food and ready meals of popular dishes such as Chicken Katsu Curry.
The opening of the Grafton Street sushi bar has created seven jobs for the local area.
Bento in M&S Grafton Street will stock an original sushi recipe with the Sláinte Roll, created by Bento and M&S for the Irish market.
The Sláinte Roll features chicken katsu and avocado rolled in spicy shichimi, drizzled with curry mayo, Irish stout teriyaki and finished with crunchy umami potato crisps.
Other dishes available include hand-crafted sushi rolls, sushi sets, street food, Donburi rice and noodle bowls, poke bowls and plant-based options such as yasai sushi rolls, pumpkin katsu curry and tofu veggie yakisoba.
To celebrate the launch, a 20% discount will be available to M&S Sparks customers until 23 July.
Customers can become a Sparks member by downloading the M&S app and signing up.

“The ongoing popularity of our products highlights the growing love of sushi across markets and we are seeing customers consistently return to our kiosks, which reflects the quality, freshness and affordability of our ranges.”
The trading director at M&S Ireland and Northern Ireland Laura Harper added, “We are delighted to introduce Bento: Sushi and Pan-Asian Kitchen to our Grafton Street store.
“We have already seen the great success of Bento at our other M&S stores across Dublin and are delighted to expand this offering to our Grafton Street customers.”
