Marks & Spencer To Continue As Official Sponsor To Munster Rugby Women’s Squad

Marks & Spencer has renewed its partnership with Munster Rugby Senior Women’s team for a second year, the retailer announced today.

As part of the store's Eat Well, Play Well campaign, Marks & Spencer will provide Munster's players with nutritious produce pre-match and during training throughout the 2024/25 season.

It will also involve a collaborative programme of educational online resources for people across Ireland to promote healthy eating and support a healthier lifestyle.

The retailer is also promoting the inclusion of the Eat Well logo within the partnership.

Eat Well is a health seal of approval on thousands of M&S products across the food hall, making it easier to for customers to eat well.

Every product with the Eat Well flower has a health benefit and supports a balanced diet.

As a result, the flower will help shoppers feel confident in making healthy choices.

Through the M&S Eat Well seal of approval and its partnership with the Munster Rugby Senior Women’s team, M&S Food aims to make families healthier for the next generation.

The retailer does this by promoting healthy eating messages in a way that is engaging, relatable and drives change.

The Eat Well flower is only on products that meet evidence-based nutritional criteria, specifically developed by the M&S nutritionists in consultation with the Nutrition Foundation.

Speaking about the announcement, the country director of M&S Ireland and Northern Ireland Eddie Murphy said, “We are delighted to renew our partnership with the talented athletes at Munster Rugby.

“Over the past year, M&S has supported the Munster Rugby Senior Women’s team with nutritious produce, promoting healthy eating and healthy choices every day.
