Maxol has announced plans to redevelop its site at Hearse Road in Donabate, located just North East of Dublin City.
The forecourt retailer will invest €2 million in the site, creating 25 new full and part-time jobs in the process.
The site is set to feature Maxol’s latest two-storey building design, and it is hoped will become a comfortable and convenient destination for the local community, as well as for commuters.
The station will include a brand new Moreish ‘Fresh Food’ cafe, alongside an off-licence, in-store toilets, spacious seating and WiFi, as well as state-of-the-art car wash facilities.
Commenting on the investment, Brian Donaldson, Group General Manager at The Maxol Group said, “Today’s consumers have unprecedented choice and we are positioning Maxol to meet their needs through the provision of exceptional facilities, standards, customer service and value for money on our forecourts, in our stores and our Moreish cafes.
He added that “By doing this we hope to continue our business growth and to develop long lasting relationships with our customers all across Ireland".
Maxol is currently looking for a licensee to operate the new station complex, which Donaldson describes as “an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to start their own business.”
Weslin Construction has been appointed contractor and with site works due to commence shortly, the new service station is expected to open early-2016.
